Hans Van Vlodrop

Born in Germany in1946, Hans’s family immigrated to Australia when he was six. Growing up in the country, Hans excelled at school receiving a scholarship to study art in Melbourne and completed a Diploma of Advertising, Fine Arts and Photography. By age twenty four Hans had held two successful solo painting exhibitions at Munster Gallery in Melbourne and by twenty five he had established his own advertising business. He also ventured into sculpting in Relief, 3D Architectural murals and Gold and Silver smithing. Hans then developed a Ceramics business producing slip cast products for the decorator market based on his own sculptural designs. During this period he became involved in Palaeontology and joined Tim O’Flannery, Mike Archer and Tom and Pat Rich on digs all over Australia.

Hans is a full time Artist working in Daylesford. He has won numerous Art Awards and his work is represented globally.
